Bishop Foys has declared January 18 as a Day of Prayer and Penance for Life in the Diocese of Covington. to mark the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to legalize abortion.  Every church will remain open during the day to allow the faithful to pray for an end to abortion, to pray for those affected by the tragedy of abortion and to pray for the 50 million children murdered by abortions.  Every Parish will expose the Blessed Sacrament for a period of time on this day.  Our Parish will begin exposition after 8:30 AM Mass until 3 PM.  St. Mary's in Alexandria will host a holy hour for life beginning at 7 pm.  All are strongly encouraged to attend.
