Parish Initiating Youth Group for Young Adults ages 18 -25

At the synod meeting discussions many expressed concerns about our youth drifting away from their faith life and suggested to do something to bring them back to church because once, they are in the High School they feel less inclined to Church and the practice of the faith, even though they might have attend Catholic schools. As college or full-time jobs are introduced to their lives the idea of faith and church seems to go on the back burner.

In response to address this, Austin Alwell has agreed to start youth meetings for young adults ages  18-24/25 at 7:00 PM at the Pavilion, once every month. The first meeting will be Sunday, Aug 14th at 7 PM.  The idea of this group is to create fellowship & Community among these adults getting them excited about their faith and hopefully sharing their faith with others. It will be informal, mostly conversation based, and provide an opportunity for adults to discuss the challenges they are experiencing in their faith and lives. We encourage adults to bring a friend, Catholic or not, and they do not have to be members of our parish. Spread the word and encourage those you know in this age group to attend.
